Advent Calendar

We received a great Advent calender (pictures to come) from my parents a few days ago.  It has been a lot of fun coming up with festive, inexpensive ideas to fill it with.  Here are a few that we are going to do:
 

Write a letter to Santa.

Watch a Christmas movie and have a picnic in the living room.

Get a manicure and pedicure at the Oh La La, Fa La La Beauty Salon.

Drive around and look at the beautiful lights.

Make Christmas sugar cookies.

Make Reindeer food.

Make cookies for Santa.

Wear a fancy dress to dinner.

Play a board game.

Drink hot chocolate and watch a Christmas movie.

Make paper snowflakes.

Play with red and green Play Dough.

Take a Christmas treat to a neighbor.

Dance to Christmas music.

Color a Christmas coloring page.

Play with our nativity set as a family and discuss Jesus' birth.

Attend the candlelight Christmas Eve service.

Help mommy wrap a present.

Donate toys to a local charity.

Read Christmas stories and drink hot chocolate.

Such a fun way to celebrate our favorite time of year!  I think I am turning into my husband with that statement :)
